• Do you want to get paid whilst carrying out an apprenticeship with Point Blank?
• Are you 16-18 years old?
• Do you  live in the borough of Islington?

If you can answer "Yes" to these questions, you may be in for an opportunity at Point Blank. We are looking for two apprentices who will be employed on a one-year contract, working as assistants to our Community Arts tutors in a year-long rolling programme.

This will involve:

• 1 day a week of accredited training from industry professionals as part of our year-long Music Production, Sound Engineering, Vocal Skills, DJ Skills or Radio Production training. For more information on these courses please see www.pointblanklondon.com/brochure.php.
• 1 day at week at City and Islington College working towards a level 2 qualification in Community Arts Management, as part of the Creative Apprenticeship.
• At least 1 additional day a week of guided learning at our state-of-the-art studios, as required by our courses.
• Weekly individual and group mentoring with an Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) Officer plus additional guided learning.
• Up to 3 days a week of on-the-job training, assisting Community Arts tutors in the delivery of media projects that we provide year-round to young people at schools, estates and youth clubs throughout London as you can see on this website.
