Teacher Training

We are aware of the enormous time constraints placed on teachers to deliver the curriculum and we understand that it is difficult for music teachers to keep abreast of the latest developments in technology, particularly software development. We have spoken to many teachers who expressed concern in keeping abreast of the latest technology so as to, in some cases, match the capabilities of their students!

We also understand that due to budgetary constraints, schools do not always have the latest software installed on their computers. As a commercial organization we always have the latest available software for students to train on and are constantly upgrading every year. Point Blank are therefore in a perfect position to pass on our experience to teachers so that they can get the most out of what the latest media software has to offer. We offer a range of Media Skills to teachers who want to keep abreast of the latest developments.

Course Breakdown

The following are 3 hour workshops:

• Video Editing
• Web Design
• Project IT
• Audio Production
• Radio Production
• Web Marketing

Flexible Delivery

Ideally, this course runs for 6  weeks, 1  evening a week for 3 hours although as always we are flexible in our delivery methods according to your needs. One day tasters can also be arranged. The course can be run at our state-of-the-art training facilities in Hoxton or we can deliver the course from any suitable location using our flightcased mobile studios or where possible, existing facilities on-site. We can accommodate up to 18 people per course at Point Blank and numbers elsewhere will be dictated by the equipment and space available.
