Key Stage Engagement Programs

From the Horse's Mouth...
"From our work with you over the last year on a number of programs it is clear that your unique set up, responsiveness to local needs and issues, your use of high quality resources, including tutors from the music industry, leads to a range of quality programmes to engage this hard to reach group."
- Robin Childs, Engagement Program Manager, Hackney
Point Blank offers flexible year-long Creative and Media academic programs aimed at Key Stage 3, 4, 5 for students who are at risk of disengagement. We can create a program made from any courses in the NCFE arts, media and publishing portfolio. We have successfully run the KS4EP for the 2008-9 academic year for schools in both Hackney and Islington and have a 100% student retention rate. Feedback from parents and teachers alike has been excellent. See Case Study below.
Flexible Delivery
We are able to deliver engagement programs either from our premises in Hackney, or at a venue near you, as we have fully mobile, easy-to-set-up studios allowing delivery from any location. A room with electricity outlets is the baseline necessity. Our equipment is state-of-the-art and constantly updated to ensure we have the latest versions of all the commonly used software.
Tutors and Students
Our tutors are highly experienced industry professionals - see 'Tutors' at top right of this page. Our tutors have taught Leona Lewis, Natasha and Daniel Bedingfield, Tayo (Radio One DJ), DJ Assad (No14 hit), DJ Jahawi (remixes include Armand Van Helden) Robin Banks (Kiss FM) and many more.
