Homeless young people try their hand at DJing at an urban art and music workshop at the Oval cricket ground in south London. About 50 young people aged 15 to 25 from centre point hostels across the city took part in a range of activities, including singing, graffiti, songwriting, and MCing. The one day event was run by urban arts youth group Point Blank and aimed to help the young people explore their talents. Chris, 20 said:” Today has given me the chance to fine tune my MCing skills. Having it all recorded and played back instantly made me realise I do have talent”.
