Point Blank takes its employees message to other communities across the UK. Working in partnership with other organisations, such as the Arts Council or local training agencies. It runs short outreach courses and projects outside the college. “These are about giving people who may not have access to this technology a taste of what can be achieved”, says Reid.

These projects are designed to empower those taking part. In one project, the team hired a bus, parked-up on a local estate and showed local kids how to make music. “Its inspiring watching these children blossom as they learn new skills”. Says Reid
