Windmill Park Young People Tune into the Sound of Success

Ten young people have successfully completed an accredited music production course as part of an exciting new programme of activities for Windmill Park youths in Southall, London.

The Windmill Park Partnership- compromising Dominion Housing Group, Ealing Family Housing Association, Notting Hill Housing Trust- launched the ten-week music course as part of it ‘REGEN_ERIZE” project for 11-19 year olds living on the once deprived estate.

The classes have given the young residents the opportunity to produce their own music and has taken them through the process of creating and recording tracks using virtual instrument’s, including synthesisers and samplers.

The successful students are set to receive accreditation from the London Open College Network and a certificate of attendance from their Point Blank Music School tutors, later this month.
