Music Bus Spin-offs

Children in Southwark are keen to learn DJ and MC skills on the Karrot bus- but only good behaviour will get them in.

Rob Cowan, director of Point-Blank, points out that even if the children do not follow a musical career or work in the music industry, they will still gain other essential skills. “When people come to do our record production and DJing courses, they’re specifically coming to learn about music”, he says. “What the children here are learning is how to work in a group and how to get into music, they’ll still have had a really valuable experience”.
