Case Study: County Durham - Film Making Course

This documentary, ‘Being a Young Person in Durham’ was created on behalf of County Durham Children’s Trust. It was made on the Point Blank accredited  film making course with the help of County Durham Youth Engagement Service.

The film workshop gave young people in Durham the opportunity to air their perceptions about the county and give their views regarding what could be done to improve their local facilities. In addition to gaining a foundation of skills in film making, participants had the chance to meet actress Tracy Anne-Oberman (Doctor Who, Eastenders) who lead a forum to inspire and brainstorm ideas.
