Case Study: Redbridge Arts Service: The Klick Project

As part of the Redbridge Arts Service’s Klick Project, Point Blank delivered four courses in Music Video Production, Singing & Songwriting, Performance Skills and Event Management.

Students from the Performance Skills course had a fantastic opportunity to play live at the Redbridge Carnival, where they performed both original and cover material (Please watch the video to view footage from the carnival).

Point Blank also delivered creative mentoring sessions, enabling highly motivated and enthusiastic participants to further develop their skills. These sessions culminated in the recording of the very first Klick album, Footprints in the Cement.

Footprints in the Cement was launched at an event planned and organised by students on the Event Management course.

The project was highly successful and enjoyed by all who took part, as testified by the words of one of our students:

‘Every day, every session that I’ve been here has been brilliant… If I could do it every day, I would do it every day.’
