Case Study: London Borough of Bromley - MyTime

Point Blank has recently been part of the Arts Train project, developed and financially supported by Bromley Mytime and the Arts Council England. Point Blank’s contribution was seven OCN accredited courses – in Music Production, DJ Skills, MC Skills and Music Video Production – and a Tutor Training course for local tutors and youth workers.
One of these courses for young people was DJ Skills at Charles Darwin School, which was particularly well received by students. They thoroughly enjoyed the DJ workshops and the opportunity to perform for the friends at a showcase in April.
The project culminated in a showcase of performances and screenings of films in early July, celebrating the many great achievements of the young people who participated.
"Jeni Gordon has been really great with us on the ArtsTrain project from start to finish. Projects like this are based pretty much entirely on people and she has really made the whole process of working with Point Blank stress free and successful." - Keith Sykes, Youth Development Manager, Bromley Mytime
“I am very grateful for your team's great work. It is very inspiring.” - Andrew McKenzie, Arts Council England.
