Approved Edexcel Training Centre

The Level 4 BTEC Higher National Certificate (HNC) is an academic course which is  delivered in partnership with, and validated by, Canterbury Christ Church University. As this course is a Level 4 qualification, students must have already completed a Level 3 course (such as an "A" level or Higher National Diploma) in order to apply. This qualification can be seen as a progression route for students once they have completed previous Point Blank courses and is funded by HEFCE.

Point Blank has also written two BTEC Level 3 music technology qualifications for which we are currently organising partners and funding for our students.

Approved NCFE Training Centre

Point Blank offers a range of NCFE courses from 360 hour modules up to 120 hour programmes of study. These qualifications are on the National Framework and  appear in the LAD database. NCFE is the preferred qualification for our Key Stage 4 Engagement Programmes.

Approved NOCN Training Centre

We are an Approved NOCN Training Centre. The Open College Network is a high quality validation and accreditation service for education and training. OCN 'credits' are recognised by universities, further education colleges, voluntary organisations and employers. All of the courses at Point Blank are externally moderated to ensure consistency. Our OCN courses are offered at Levels 1-3 depending on the participants needs.OCN courses are generally 30 hours in length and we use them to engage hard-to-reach youth who may be NEET or at risk of being NEET.

Apple Approved Training Center for Education

By studying at Point Blank, you can achieve certification status in Apple's professional audio application: Logic Pro. That certification officially recognises your knowledge of Apple's professional applications and lets you market yourself to employers and clients as a skilled, pro-level user of this awesome piece of audio software. We are also able to secure discounts on Apple products for our students.

Official Steinberg Training Centre

Strong links have been formed between Point Blank, the U.K's No.1 Music Production College and Steinberg, the software giants behind the most successful sequencer package in the world, Cubase. Official Native Instruments Training Centre

Point Blank was established as the first ever official Native InstrumentsTraining Centre. All students enrolling at Point Blank are entitled to substantial educational discounts on the cutting edge products manufactured by Native Instruments (Reaktor, Kontakt, Battery, Massive and more). Students also receive official certificates from Native Instruments upon completion of relevant courses.
